Week 3 - Easy as 1-2-3.

This week started off with another visit to the pediatrician – she wanted to make sure John was eating, gaining weight, and growing before they let him off the hook for a couple of months. John passed this test with flying colors, gaining almost one full pound (weighing in at 9lbs. 15oz.) in the last week. Way to go, buddy! Let’s hope he slows down a little – we need some time for our arm muscles to catch up so we can lug the little guy around.

John was fortunate to meet lots of new friends this week:  Great Aunt Linda and Great Uncle Paul, Joe Blaney, and Rachel and Liza came to visit bearing gifts. We also had a super fun visit with Kelly, Jake, and JJ Zarah – thank you for all your help!

This week also marked John’s first (and second, and third) walk outside – how fun?!  He loved it so much that he slept the entire time. He was able to see St. Vincent’s church, and we even made a quick stop in the cupcake shop. Mama and John are happy to be mobile again and enjoy the fresh air! Fall is our favorite time of year, so we’re looking forward to many more of these neighborhood jaunts.

  1. The picture of Cooper eating his tail is amazing. So fun to be with you again and see how much John has grown in just one week! Can't wait to see you guys again soon. LOVE YOU 4 (make sure Cooper knows that I still love him very much). xo, Sandra
