13 Weeks + Sleepovers

This week marked our first Apple-picking adventure as a foursome and it was Corbett's first visit to New Jersey! Though we wish the circumstances were different, it was great to see all the Geiselmanns- meeting some for the very first time. In true Geiselmann-fashion ("Geiselmanns don't cry!"), Pop-pop kept a genuine smile on his face, and the jokes rolling. John stayed behind to make sure Granny wasn't bored and proceeded to take over her bed, her special Wednesday afternoons with "the girls", and any semblance of free time. These boys are very lucky - they have some awesome grandparents. Thank you, Granny, and get well very soon, Pop-pop!

3 Months!

Corbett is 3 months old - that flew! He seems to be settling into a more predictable routine and keeps the smiles coming. The highlight of the week was a trip into Boston, which marked the first train trip for both boys. We played chess outside Quincy Market, walked along the Greenway, rode the Carousel, and had a yummy lunch on a beautiful day. We also had some unexpected and welcome time with the ChiBradys, including some twilight football and dinner al Fresco.

11 Weeks Old - Party On, John!

It was a fun week! John was able to reunite with some of his old Abbott buddies as we celebrated his 5th birthday at Launch. We also had a fun day at Granny's over the weekend with all the Brady Cousins. And, finally, Corbett got to meet Nanny Marina!

Also this week, Corbett was a trooper at his 2-month visit to the doctor where he received a round of shots heard 'round the world. He proceeded to sleep for almost all of the following 24 hours, and then was back to his happy self. He weighed in at just shy of 15lbs, and is 24.5" long.

One of our favorite drawings by John, to date. It's of a "Playground Hotel"- a rock wall, a bridge, and a fireman's pole, with the usual suspects.
